A) Centered page layout @ 900 pixels wide with 100% height
- Ideal for 1024 x 768 and higher screen resolutions which the majority of computer users are now using.

B) Centered page layout @ 1000 pixels wide with 100% height
- Ideal for 1024 x 768 and higher screen resolutions, only a small portion of computer users still have this setting
- The site will appear smaller on large resolutions & screens

All site designs allow for a maximum of 3 revisions. So initially you will be presented with 2 or 3 layout & design concepts based on your design requests. You can then request further changes to one of those designs, and then you can request one final lot of changes to the design which at that point it will be ready to be coded.

Website Navigation
A) Pure CSS driven drop down dynamic menu
- The default menu system included in our CMS package. We will customise the style & layout to match the site design.
- Up to 3 levels of menus, top level, sub menu and 2nd sub menu.
- Menu includes SEO friendly urls that include the page keywords in the URL. Menu can be read by all search engines.
- Menu can be Horizontal or Vertical depending on the site layout. Vertical allows more room for future additions to the menu, horizontal is limited to the width of the site

Website Content
The most important part of your site is the content. If you don't have enough content for your site then it is not worth having a website. A good website should have at least the following main important pages/information
- Home Page - introduction to the business, with summary of what you do etc
- Products/Services - in depth look at the products/services on offer with images
- Contact - all your contact details including a quick enquiry form
This of course is just a guide, page name & topics can change. The idea of having a website is to provide as much information as possible online for prospective customers so they can make an informed decision whether or not you have what they want and at the price that's right for them etc.
You have two options when it comes to content
- Pitstop 101 inserts the content for you you will supply pitstop 101 with all content required for the initial website and we will format it and insert it into the website.
- YOU insert your own content if you choose our CMS package you will be able to insert your own content, you will be provided with instructions on how to do this as well as have access to over the phone and email support. Inserting your own content will also save you $$.
Page Limits: There are no page limits when using our Content Management System (depending on the package you choose), you will only be limited by the amount of disk space allocated to your hosting account. The more pages, content & files you add to the site the more disk space you will consume.

Content Management System (CMS)
Pitstop 101 have developed our very own Content Management System which gives our clients the option to 'take control' of their own website. After the initial website is developed we provide you with login details for the CMS, from which you can add/edit the content on your site. There are various options that can be included in the CMS package depending on your needs, some of these include
- Guestbook/Testimonials - Have your customers/visitors leave reviews or testimonials via your site. You are notified when messages are left and can approve them via your admin before they appear online

Domain Names
All websites need a domain name. Your domain name should be relative to your business name and what you sell/provide. Its also good to register a domain that is descriptive as this has been proven to be an effective measure to getting a decent search engine ranking.

Website & Email Hosting
Once you have a website, you need to have it hosted. Hosting is when your website is placed on a remote hosting server (a computer similar to a desktop pc but customised for web hosting application). The web server is located in a data centre which is connected to the 'back bone' of the internet. There are hundreds of web hosting companies in Australia, all with varying prices and support levels.
